Doesn't anyone ever talk about babies here?
All this fighting has really irritated me. I am usually a lurker...looking for others peoples' views on parenting and advice when needed. I try to do the same for others when I see a post I can relate to. I guess I was under the impression that was the point of a board like this. I was WRONG! Everyone is so catty an acts like they are still in junior high. I am guessing most people here are at least in their mid 20's, therefore not in junior high anymore. People need to grow up, stop looking for a way to make offensive comments in everything they respond to and treat people the way they would want to be treated. EVERYONE has their own story and the constant judgement around here is so ignorant.

I work with middle school kids all day and most of the time this board reflects the same behavior. I try to skip over all the drama filled posts!

oh please. It gets posted 20 million times a week. If they offend her sensitivities so much she can skip right over the posts. Drama posts are real easy to avoid. They all have a big old star next to them.
Oh please, something like this is posted weekly and never does any good. Even I rolled my eyes. If there are message boards out there that stay on topic and where everyone loves one another they are few and far between. Just ignore the posts not parenting related.

Who said I didn't like it? These are my favorite kinds of posts. If you don't like my remarks then feel free to utilize the block button. Until then I guess you are hostage to my obnoxiousness.
No sensitivities here. Just asking a legitimate question. I certainly am not talking about everyone on this board but there are a number of people that seem to make snide comments on everyone's posts regardless of what they are about. I don't have time to count how many posts are about babies and how many are about other stuff. It just seems like people are using this board as their only social interaction and it is kindof sad. I would never think everyone would get along and agree on everything but the constant bashing from some people is ridiculous. Makes me wonder how they treat everyone else in their life. Sad really.
And..................preparing for the rude, insensitive comments now.
I watch that show just for Xtina.
As you spend more time on the boards you start to recoinize certain posters and the dynamics between posters. Just like in real life, every now an again you run into some big jerks. If you venture on to different boards, you will notice there are different climates and there are different cliques that jump boards together .
You will notice at times the boards get slow with only a handful of posts for awhile and then all the sudden there are pages of posts. It comes and goes...This is especially true as new ones move up to the next board and old ones move. A few months ago all H3LL broke loose when a clique jumped up to 6-9 and it ticked off some girls....The group that is here now, will probably change in the next couple weeks as they move to the toddler board.

This. I've been on message boards for a while, and I've seen a lot of message board "bullies" finally grow up and realize how immature they were being.

Nope. Started planning my wedding in 2004 on the knot. Got involved in a spinoff that was filled with bullies, drama, AEs, much like this. Everyone is older and much nicer now. They still speak their mind, but there is much more respect when they do.
