    2. Watching the projections is like crack, they just stare in a calm, soothing awe. It's quite nice, really!

    I noticed today that DD loves shushing noise and goes right to sleep when she hears it! I was trying the Cuddle theory, or 5 Ss, whichever one... I rocked her, shushed, and held her close to me all at once.

    Yes, that's it.

    My DS is so used to it that once I turn it on his eyes start getting heavy. He isn't into the projections yet.

    DH jokes that once we move him into his own room, we'll have to buy another for us b/c we love it so much too. We keep it on all night long.

    Shhing worked great for us until DD was about 4 months. Then she figured out it meant 'go to sleep now, it's ok!' and decided she could cry louder than we could shh. It was a wonnnnnderful tool when she was a newborn though, I loved the 5 s's!

    dd laughes and talks to the fishes..it is quite amusing.

     

    i don't use the projection very often only if it is the last resort.  I love the rain sound and so does she!
