1. How did you do last week?
2. Have you ever tried any of the popular fitness programs or videos (e.g. - p90x, Insanity, old school - Taebo and Windsor PIlates, etc)? What did you think?
You'll notice I removed the "what are you going to improve" question because it's a little repetitive. If you want it back in the check-in, let me know.
Re: Fitness Check-in
1. Not great. I walked with the dog 2 or 3 nights, ran once (about a mile+ and then walked the rest), and went on a 4 mile hike yesterday. The hike was mainly just so we could go to a restaurant called Woody's last night for the soup/salad/pizza buffet...I hike to eat.
2. I ordered Windsor Pilates about 10 years ago and did it occasionally, but it didn't change my life or anything. I was watching an infomercial for Insanity and I think I want to order it after the baby's born.
1. Monday- circuit training + 3 mile run, Tuesday- pilates, Wednesday- zumba, Thursday- yoga + 3 mile run, Friday- pilates, Saturday- 4 mile run, Sunday- laziness.
2. I'm not a big video person. I've done the 30 day shred, and I like Jillian Michael's yoga meltdown, but that's all. I don't feel like I push myself hard enough during vidoes. I guess I'd rather go run!
1. Another "eh" week. Does riding our bikes downtown and back count as exercise if there was a pitcher of Sangria involved? We did some Kinect Zumba that was a ton of fun and a great work-out too, but had to be stopped early because of crying kids.
2. We tried p90x after Jocelyn was born. It was an amazing work-out, but several of the sessions are 60-90 minutes long and that's just not practical with our schedules and the kids. Between my job and two little ones, my exercise of choice has become whatever I can fit into the slivers of time between household/work crises.
