tell me i am spoiled

So dd sleeps 7pm-6am and she was taking 3-5 hours worth of naps but lately it has been around 1-2 hours worth of naps.  I kind of miss the long naps but she just doesn't seem to need the sleep during the day.  My mother in law had her today and when i picked her up i asked how she was and she said oh Reagan gave us a run for our money and i was thinking oh no she was fussy and crabby no she was happy but she didn;t want to take a morning nap (only 45min)  I told mil we were just spoiled for to long.  Just wondering how much napping your 5 month old does.  I think the 3-5 hours of napping is rare.

    Hadley usually takes 4 naps during the day. ?They're usually between 35-45 minutes. ??

    Lately he naps maybe 2 hours all day, but goes down at 6:30

    DS takes about a 2 hour nap twice a day.  I don't think he's taken a 3-5 hour nap since he was about a month old. He took this morning nap with no problem, but he only slept about 45 minutes this afternoon and has been cranky.  We normally start our night time routine around 7:40 with him in his swing by 8:10 and crib by 8:30, but he's currently in the swing now and soon to be his crib.

    funny you mention this. your dd sounds exactly like my DD's twin. she will sleep from 7pm until 6-7am. and then take two naps most days. before she used to nap much longer- but now she is down to around 45 min to an hour naps.

    that just started within the last week or so. not sure if has to do with turning five months- or a teething issue. Gisele had a 2.5hr nap today and i was like, hmmm when is she going to get up????

    Thanks ladies...mil can just make me feel guilty for some reason and i feel bad that dd didn't take a huge nap but hey if she is happy then why force a nap.  I am just blessed she sleeps thru the night for the most part!!!

    • Stacey...yea peanut was taking really good naps but in the last couple weeks it has all changed.  I am not sure why but when she would wake up and start to fuss i would put her nuk back in and she would fall back asleep but not anymore.  when she is up she is up and normally she is happy.

    I'm lucky if DD takes 2 hours of naps all day total. Usually it's between 1-1.5 hours (a 30 min morning nap, and if I'm lucky a full hour in the afternoon).

    She's in bed at 7 as well....

    yeah mine too- when she is up- she is all smiles and totally content- so i guess she is getting what she needs. i would say things changed about a week ago and she started to really fight her morning nap. so much that it would get extended and pushed into her afternoon nap and we totally had to shift our schedule around.

    i guess its just another 'change' - amazing how fast they are growing.

    Alaina sleeps about the same night hours, but she sometimes wakes around 3-4 to eat. And she does NOT nap. she'll take a 2 hr nap if I lay down with her, but otherwise it's 15 minute cat naps here and there.
