Do you have any consigment shops around? A lot of the stores with kids clothes have some maternity clothes. I have gotten a few good deals. I also have bought from Kohls and Motherhood.
I agree with PP about consignment shops. I've found that most women's or children's consignment shops have a maternity section.
Kohl's has a limited but decent selection and especially if you hit a sale, they can be pretty cheap. You can also find maternity clothes on Amazon.com.
Definately agree with consignment shops! Also check Kohls. The sometimes have 40% off all maternity clothes and other times it's buy one get one half or buy one get one free.
As others have said, consignment shops, but, looking at where you are, I doubt there are a lot of shops near you (your best bet would probably be GP, and even then, you're probably going to be limited). We actually have Thyme maternity in Canada (which I'm pretty sure they don't in the states)...if you hit them during a sale, their stuff isn't too expensive - I got some nice work pants for $20 each. Their regular priced stuff can be pretty pricey though.
ETA: Although you can't order maternity online in Canada from Old Navy, I've *heard* that some of the stores do have a maternity section.

Watch garage sales - there are tons of them this time of year. I check the Craigslist listing for garage sales in my area every Friday to see who is advertising maternity (you can even search the garage sales section using the word "maternity."). You get stuff for a song!

All of my favorite maternity clothes have come from Goodwill. They're still in good shape b/c you don't wear them for too long and super cheap. I've also recently discovered Beall's maternity section. I know the stores are only in Florida, but it might be worth checking on-line.

Consignment stores/thrift shops = Best investment ever.
You get so much for your $$
I second this!! My favorite Jeans that I wear the most were only $5.
I got a pair of maternity jeans at ross last night for 13 bucks, but don't know/think you have those there.
This is an awesome site, but also unsure if they ship to Canada

They are having a 30% memorial day sale, and they just added a ton of clothes to their Clearance Section!
