Driving myself crazy with worry...

DD had her 2 week check up at the peds yesterday and checked out great! Today I have noticed that she keeps trying to "clear" her throat and sometimes sounds as though she is breathing through mucous. She also has choked a couple of times... I am curious as to whether this is reflux or something else.

I got spooked when I read that many babies that die from SIDS had congestion right before... so now I am freaking out more. She has been spitting up a good amount though which leads me to think reflux.

Any reassurance?

    Jordan has had really bad flem for about a week and we went to the doctor yesterday. The doc seemed to not be worried one bit and actually said it was quite normal. DS has also been spitting up a little more than before and doc also said it was very normal and nothing to be alarmed by. Hope that helps a little... :)

    Did you have a csection by chance? c section babies often have extra fluid that doesn't get "squeezed out" when delivering vaginally

    dd has always sounded congested basically since she was born.  I have to suck the snot out with a bulb which she hates but she can breathe better.  Reagan was a csection baby so that might have something to do with it.
