IVF Update

I had my first u/s today (day 7 of stims).  Six follies are growing between 11-16 in size.  Only one is on my left ovary though (I am blaming that stupid cyst!).  Righty has five.  I was really hoping for more seeing as our issue is lack of fert due to MFI, but I guess it is much better than the last cancelled cycle where I only had 2 viable follies.  

I go back in tomorrow for more b/w and another u/s.  The nurse that called with my results thought I would trigger on Wednesday.  Hoping they get at least 5 or 6 eggs at the ER, so I might have a chance. (Last successful cycle, I had 10 follies with 6 mature eggs, but only one fertilized). 

(Oh, and I apologize for being a PW today!)

TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    That is awesome that you got the u/s today!  I knew you were concerned.  And six follies sounds great!  I am keeping my fingers crossed and sending loads of good vibes that they all continue to grow strongly and turn into rock star embies.  Best of luck!!!!
