Cramping?

Hi Everyone,

I am 6 weeks 4 days and am experiencing some light cramping, on and off - nothing too sharp or intense, but rather light period cramps?  Anyone else have this similar experience?

  • very normal.  as long as they are not severe or accompanied by bleeding or heavy bright red spotting you should be fine.  if you worried call your doctor.  if you haven't gotten one already, grab a pregnancy book some like what to expect when you're expecting.  don't worry...  and congrats!

  • Cramping, from what I've heard is pretty normal.  I had pretty regular cramping from wks 4-5, it's slowly started to taper off (I am 6wks today).  There is still some cramping but not as regular as before.

I've been told it's just your body getting ready for baby.  As long as there is no blood accompanying it you should be good!

    Good luck and congrats!!

  • I had this up until about 14 weeks with my first pregnancy. my dr. assured me that all was normal as long as I wasn't bleeding. Things are moving around and shifting in there, and the corpus luteum is still pretty large at this point.

  • I had cramps for almost 2 weeks when I got a positive test but was told it's normal. As long as there isn't bleeding I think you're ok.
