Spinoff: Are you still able to wear Spanx?

Was just reading the post about dresses and spanx.  By the end of the day, mine are totally killing me.  Worse than pants.  Any tips?

    I wouldn't even contemplate wearing Spanx at this point.  I am all about the comfort.

    I cannot stand wearing tight things... this wouldn't even be within my realm of possibility.  Sounds like pure torture!

    What?  I only wear spanx under slinky dresses if I'm going to a wedding!  Only a few times a year am I willing to go through that discomfort and pee-pee dance, even when I'm not pg, lol.  Give yourself a break and buy some stretchy pants!

    Spanx are a very tight heavy-duty spandex thing that sucks you all in and makes me curvy and smooths out all the "lumps" lol.  A lot of women discover them when shopping for wedding dresses, but I've always been a fan.  The one I have goes from mid thigh to just below my boobs.

    I use the Assests by Spanx line and I have the one that's like an extra fitted cami and it tucks into my pants and gives me juuuust enough room to button and not have to worry about it. Has anyone tried the cami style? Oh, plus Assets is the cheaper line ;-)

    I am now wearing them everyday under my suits. I don't love it, but I manage because I have to.

    ugh, I had to wear my spanx to my DH's ALS graduation two weeks ago, because I bought a super cute dress before we knew we were pregnant.  My little bloat bump would not allow my to fit in the dress, so I had to wear my spanx.  They were not comfortable, but neither were the heels I was wearing.  Luckily, it was only for a dinner banquet, but I looked darn good while I was there.  Smile
