Bad News, Good News.

Bad New First- we have an appointment on Wednesday with GI specialist for K's reflux. She doesn't spit up often, but you can hear (and feel if you are holding her) the stomach contents rise into her throat and then go back down. She takes a deep breath and then screams. I know it hurts her and I hate it. I think they are going to scope her Tongue Tied

My and DH's worse fear? they will say there is nothing to do for her or that they found nothing wrong and it's just something she has to live with for now.

Good News!- her formula was approved by insurance!! $40 a can and they are mailing us 7 cans this week!!! Yay!! Party!!!

Holy hell $40 a can?! Glad insurance will cover that for you. I'm sorry to hear about her reflux...that just sucks.

Sorry to hear about her reflux, too. DD had silent reflux and it was pretty awful. I'm sure they'll have some idea of how to help her. I know Prevacid did quit a bit of good for Lily.

Aw, I hope she feels better soon. I'm thinking about calling the ped to see if Eliza has reflux. I hate seeing her cough and squeak because something is going on.

Also, YAY for insurance covering your formula! That rocks!
