PSA about maternity clothes

Target has great stuff at reasonable prices, don't forget to look there when you're ready!

As for Motherhood, their stuff is alright.  Not great quality, and kind of pricey for what it is, if not on sale.  By the time I was 36 weeks, the tank tops were too short.  The Target ones fit the entire time, and were still long at the end.

With my son, I got a lot of long flowy tops and dresses from Forever 21 one size bigger, and they lasted until the end of the pregnancy.

ETA:  I do like the Motherhood Secret Fit pants... but the t-shirts and tanks were just too short at the end... and I am 5'2''.

    I love the jeans at Motherhood. The ones at target never went high enough and by the end, the elastic was slipping down. I am a fan of the Motherhood Secret Fit. I prefer the over the belly jeans in case my shirts are a bit short. Then I won't show off skin. Otherwise, I have a lot of Target stuff.

    I helped my mom pick out maternity clothes 2 yrs ago & I made sure they were cute enough for me too. I didn't anticipate needing them so soon :-)

    I really like Old Navy's styles & they try & keep up with the trends. Their prices are okay too, especially the clearance rack.

    That's kind of how I feel about Target's stuff, not great quality. It's fine for t-shirts and stuff, but for nicer things, I prefer Mimi Maternity or Pea in the Pod. Motherhood is good too, I think their clothes are cuter and more stylish than Target. 

    I still have tons of stuff from my 1st pregnancy so I'm hoping not to have to buy to much stuff!

    I just bought some Secret Fit jeans and dress pants from Motherhood Maternity this weekend.  I've worn them both already and love them!  (I'm wearing the dress pants today)  Both are very comfortable.  I haven't really had any luck at Target.  I've tried a few things on, but didn't really fall in love with anything.

    I actually have a lot of great maternity and nursing clothes from motherhood. I lived in their maternity tanks toward the end, and then I switched to Target nursing tanks after DS came. I have had a problem with the sleeves on some of Motherhood's tops being short, but they have always taken returns or done exchanges with no hassle! I am so excited that there is a new Motherhood Maternity nearby me this time, so I don't have to buy everything from then online anymore!

    i acutally don't really like target's maternity clothes, but do really like motherhood....my T's from motherhood are super comfy.
