Molly is on a nap strike. I have to get a ton done, my BFF and her boyfriend will be here Sat. and I have a list a mile long. Molls is currently in her crib screeching just for fun. She has slept for 10 mins total today. She's exhausted but refuses to nap. I may just vacuum anyway and hope it puts her to sleep. She wants me to hold her all the time. I can't clean the toilet and tub while "wearing" her.

Aww, I'm sorry Baz. This was Adam last night. I kept trying to hold him and put away groceries and clean out the fridge. It didn't work to well. He wanted nothing to do with his bumbo,swing, or bouncer and just screamed. Finally, I had to let him cry a few minutes just to put the frozen food in the freezer.

Would a walk put her to sleep? When DS is being a monster, we go on a walk so I can clear my mind and he falls asleep in the stroller. Then I just push it inside and let him nap there while I get work done.

OMG. This worked! I played music fairly loud and rocked her, by the end of the first song she was out. I just have to put her in bed now.

I'm sorry you are going through this but I am in the exact same boat! Only either he won't nap at all or takes one monster nap and is still impossible the rest of the day. Oh, and you'd think his swing is on fire the way he screams when I put him down.

I feel your pain, sometimes swaddling helps my LO. Or sometimes I just have to let him cry for about 5 minutes to tire him out a little more. And when I say 5 minutes I probably mean 2 because I can't sit in another room and listen to him scream. Its frustrating for me and him.

I let her cry while I sprayed out her nasty poop dipe. If I swaddled her she would have a total meltdown. She's down now, I'm about to move her to her crib.
