I know that there was a post about a lady who thought her water just broke and she just peed herself. How do you tell the differences? I just rolled out of bed to go get lunch around 12:20 and felt a popping sensation... just like when my pelvis pops and such... seemed normal to me... but the a 'gush' of fluid start to come and I just sat there in shock really. I wish I would have tried to do a kegal to see if it was urine or not. I have lost control of my bladder before, but my bed is SOAKED... like really bad... My PJs are soaked and I did urinated when I went to the bathroom to change. I am trying to do the simple test of laying down for a half an hour to see if my pad is wet... It was wet at 1:00... I did get something to eat and now doing another test. I am waiting for DH to come home to call the doctor and smell it... it doesn't smell like urine to me... it smells like nothing. I don't think my bladder is this big... for the amount of fluid that is here. Plus I did go to the bathroom around 11:55 if I remember... sorry for being scatter brained post.... I am going LMAO if I just peed myself... but it is a lot of fluid.
What did you doctors tell you to do if you water breaks? With everything I discussed with my midwife I didn't talk to her about this.... ugh.
Re: Did my water just break???
I would be really surprised if that wasn't your water breaking.
You need to call your doctor and they'll probably tell you head to the hospital.

WHOO-HOO!!! Congrats - sounds like the levee broke!

I'm also at 13 days remaining....this gives me hope for early! [wink]
Congrats!
It really sounds like it was your water. I wouldn't wait too long to call the doctor (no more than a couple of hours) provided the fluid was clear and you are NOT GBS positive. But, you should really just do what your doctor has instructed you to do..
I woke up this AM and my underwear was a bit wet but it was not my water breaking.
I just freaked out for a bit..
this. Good luck!
