Update to testing after M/C

So we decided to have a D&C in part to do chromasomal testing.  It took almost a month but we got the results back yesterday: a girl with complete trisomy 9.  I wasn't sure how I would feel - but strangely (and probably selfishly) I feel better knowing it wasn't me.  It wasn't the real beer I was accidentally served when I ordered a NA one, or the gardening, or lifting of boxes.  It was nature, maybe in part my age, but really it was out of my control. 

I'm still sad but ready to move forward.  Just thought I would share since too may of us have been down this road and knowing seemed to help me.

    I am so sorry, but glad that you have closure, and a reason.

    I'm glad you got some closure. It's nice to give you peace of mind so your're not left wondering. I love the new photo. She is so beautiful!

    Very common reason for m/c. I had the same thing with m/c #2. Closure does help, but it is still really f-ing hard. ((HUGS))
