just had 1st appt

I had my first app today. My betas almost doubled from Thursday evening (535 @ 15 dpo) to Saturday morning (950 @ 17 dpo), so things look good. I had blood taken again so I will get beta #3 results tomorrow. FX for a solid double!

First ultra sound is 6/14 at 7w5d. Can't wait to hear little poppyseed's heart beating.

My OB said everything looks good so far. I am on an emotional roller coaster though. I go from being elated, to nervous, to straight up happy, to completely frightened. I just so badly want this baby to stick, and I feel guilty for even considering the idea that she might not (even though I know there is a 1 in 4 chance). Wish I could just be content and shout it from the rooftop!

    Try to stay positive!  I also keep letting my worries get the best of me but I think we just have to believe everything is going to be awesome.

    It's always so hard to relax and not worry about the "what ifs."  Try to remember that first tri is only a few weeks and then you're on to second tri where things start to feel more real!
