Monday Activity/Workout Check In

Oh weekend.... how I miss you already!

Saturday: 20 minute walk with the dog, cleaning and such for about an hour.

Sunday: Ummmm.... I went to the grocery store... yep, that's about it. LOL

Monday: Hoping for some Wii Fit tonight. It's raining here AGAIN! I must point out I have been really good about still taking the 4 flights of stairs up to my office at work and not the elevator. I was seriously tempted this morning! haha

Tuesday: It's finally supposed to be nice out so hopefully a 30 minute minimum walk.

Wednesday is the next check in ladies!

  • I've been so lazy and finally got up yesterday to try to make up for it. 

    Thurs-Sat - nothing!

    Sun - 6 mile walk - i felt so much better after! 

    Tomorrow - 90 mins prenatal yoga class

    I did go grocery shopping too  :) i'll count it, if you do!

  • ugh, you make me feel so lazy.  To me, doing household chores should definitely count as a workout.  I've been good about walking the dog when the weather is nice but for the most part it has been really crummy so I've had no motivation to go outside.  

    The funny thing is that I keep dreaming of exercising.   I've always been really active (I rowed in college) but I've never been a fan of running.  Lately, it seems like all I do is dream about going for a run.  I wake up wanting to exercise but as soon as I get up and get going I'm back to feeling exhausted and lazy.    

     I stopped going to my prenatal yoga class because I was having health complications that were making it really hard for my to make it on a regular basis and I was having to pay 6 classes in a row so it was a waste of money when I couldn't make it.  I really should get a DVD and do it from home.

  • Friday, I did the treadmill for 30 mins. Saturday and Sunday I went to the coast with MH to celebrate our 3 yr anniversary, so I relaxed, I didn't workout at all, and I ate poorly, but I didn't gain anything. ;) today, I'm about to get on the treadmill in a fee mins when a baby story comes on lol, then I'll do some body wring training, tomorrow, the same or I'll go swimming if the weather permits.

  • Friday- eliptical for 30 min, Sat - we were out shopping all day and running errands, Sunday I went for a 1hr 20 min walk.

  • I just started participating in these check-ins and I just wanted to say they really help to motivate me (which says a lot these days b/c I have been feeling SO LAZY!) On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I did a pre-natal workout video at home (40 mins). I also walked the dog each day for 15 mins each time. My whole life I've been in such great shape so I'm really concerned about all the weight I've put on:( I hope the exercising I am able to do is helping!
  • Friday- 1 mile walk and some light weight training

    Saturday- cleaned/organized house

    Sunday- 2 mile walk/jog

    I got a microdermabrasion facial on Sunday afternoon and was told not to overheat (cheeks red) for 48 hours- so I am using that as my excuse to take today and tomorrow off!!  

    Question: On my long walk I was pretty uncomfortable "down there" .  I think I have some swelling in my labia, combined with warm weather and brisk walking it was getting kinda irritated.  Has anyone else experienced this??

  • I have been slacking lately, but with bathing suit season around the corner I am starting to get a little more motivated.

    Saturday I didn't work out at all. It was so nice out and I just relaxed. lol

    Sunday- painted the nursery (well the top half) and I did some weight training for about 20 mins.

    Today- more painting (to finish the top half of the room) and more weight training for 30 minutes

    Tomorrow we have an ultrasound after work, so I don't think I will get to the gym. So instead I will try to do at least 30 minutes of weight training
