anyone else?

Does anyone else who hasn't been cleared for sex yet feel like it would help them feel LOADS better? I'm tired and overwhelmed, but I feel like if I could just have sex with DH again I would be so much better off. We cuddle and stuff but I just don't feel as connected to him...

    I felt like that before I was cleared and I gave in.  We had sex at about 5 weeks.  When I went for my 6 week visit I told the LPN I saw and she said it was probably fine.  She was only concerned about birth control.  But I had a quick vaginal delivery and only had 2 stitches (which I was sure were gone before we had sex), so my recovery was probably easier than most.

    Yes!  We haven't DTD since . . . hm, Valentine's Day, maybe?  Now my sex drive is back and my emotions could use some leveling out, but I'm only two weeks postpartum, with at least one stitch still in (When I asked the OB how many stitches he was putting in, he answered, "Enough."  I was still numb from the epidural, so I couldn't feel each one, but he was working down there for about twenty minutes!)
