I know it?s early to be thinking about this, but what are you work plans after baby? Do you intend to change your schedule or number of hours?
I currently work full-time, but I would love to either cut down to 32 hours per week or work a condensed schedule. I?d also love a work at home option for some days, even though I?d still put LO in daycare, obviously. We have insurance through me so being a SAHM is not really an option at this point. I also really like my job (I work as a marketing writer).
Re: Will you be changing your work schedule?
I don't think we will be changing my work hours at all after maternity leave. I have a great job and a great boss who is super family friendly so if I do end up wanting to change I think it would be fine but I really love my job so I dont think we will be changing. Also DH and I have a great schedule now that will be perfect for when the LO is here!
I do kind of like the idea of a condensed work schedule though!

After my 6 weeks of maternity leave, I only have about 2.5 more months at my current job (boss knows this); and I'm going to propose covering those months part-time, so working 3 9-hour days a week, most likely.
Then I'm hoping to transition to a new P/T job. Maybe work from home? If I'm super lucky? We'll see what happens...
