another c/s question....bladder related

How many of you can't tell when your bladder is full?

This happened to me after DS1 and again for this one. I force myself to go to the bathroom because I literally can't tell if I have to pee or not. Sometimes it'll be around noon and I haven't gone at all.

Re: another c/s question....bladder related

  • I was the opposite while in the hospital. I could feel the urge to pee but couldn't force it out. Therefore, I had a catheter for several days. Ugh!  I had to pee without a catheter before I could be discharged.

initially after my catheter was out I had an issue. I'm fine now. I did get a UTI after the cath and had to go to on antibiotics.

  • I can tell when my bladder is full - my problem is when I do pee, my bladder contracts so hard and stays contracted after I'm done. I'm hoping that's temporary - it HURTS!

  • I'm having bladder issues--but can't describe them---all I know is it feels like it's going to fall out....LOL.  I don't think it's a UTI although never had one.  No burning sensation--just a weird one.

  • Yes, I had bladder issues with DS and this time. I can't tell that I have to pee until my bladder is ready to burst. I get this really intense pinching sensation from my bladder to my urethra and I have to go right. then. With DS it gradually faded and I was back to normal after about 3 weeks.
