Re: How was everyones weekend?

  • Saturday was great!  We had nice weather here for the first time in a week and I was really dreading the graduation party we had to go to because it was for a cousin on my father's side of the family and they are all hard to get along with.  But it ended up being a really great time. It's terrible to say, but my grandmother (dad's mom) is sick and because of that she hasn't been to many get together's.  Everyone is so much more social and less uptight with her not being around.

Sunday was pretty good.  We usually see my dad but he cancelled because of a migraine.  DH came with me to do my couponing which was a big mistake.  He's so irritating because he acts like he's bothered by it or that I don't know what I'm doing.  But then in the afternoon we made foccacia bread and he built some great flower boxes for the front of our house.  Both the girls went out to help him so I had some reading time.

    Overall- a B+ weekend ;)

  • We had a great weekend!

We woke up on saturday, got donuts, and took DS to the duck pond. It was nice and relaxing. Then we spent most the day at MIL's. I actually like my MIL so that was fun. My 2 nephews were over so the cousins played.  Came home and relaxed

Sunday we took some really nice pictures of DS and walked around the botanical gardens.

  • It was up and down.  We pretty much decided we are done having babies, so I started to get rid of a lot of our baby stuff (Goodwill, yard sale, and CL).  We have a small house, and I can't stand clutter, so if we change our minds in a few years, we'll just buy new stuff.

MIL picked up DD #1 Saturday morning to take her for the weekend, and we were really looking forward to spending the weekend with just the baby, and even lined up a sitter for after she went to bed Saturday night so we could go to dinner and a movie.  Then MIL called a few hours later and said DD had a fever, so I picked her up, and we canceled the sitter.  She had a rough night of sleep and so did we.

We walked to breakfast Sunday morning which was great exercise, and enjoyed the nice weather and some yummy pancakes.  Then since DD was feeling better, we went to MIL's for an early dinner and walked down to their boat so DD could pretend she was driving it.  :-)

We had another ROUGH night last night with DD as far as sleep goes.  She is just totally off of her schedule after being sick, not taking naps, taking naps, etc, that she didn't go to sleep until almost 11 last night, then woke up a ton in the middle of the night.  It sucked.

We did make the most of the beautiful weather though.

Oh, and I finished Water for Elephants.  After reading that and Sarah's Key in the last two weeks, I'm ready for a more uplifting book!

  • it was decent.

Had a birthday party on Saturday morning. holy allergies batman! DH sold his car for full asking price (yay!)

Downside: We didn't replace his car because the one he originally wanted was sold and then I had to go to dinner with his wretched grandma.

We leave for disney on Friday, so he better get a new car today. I have to be able to use my car.

  • Overall, it was okay.

Friday was awesome.  I dropped Miles off with DH's aunt after nap, and I went and got a haircut.  Then, DH and I had a night-in date.  We ordered Chinese and watched "The King's Speech", and generally enjoyed the quiet.  It was bliss.

Saturday, I had rehearsal all day, and Miles was incredibly cranky by the time I got done. (He had stayed with Daddy, but was tired and cranky when I got home). The evening was pretty awful.

Sunday was up and down.  DH woke up feeling ill, and ended up sleeping most of the day.  Miles knew Daddy was upstairs and couldn't understand why he couldn't go play with him.  In the late afternoon, DH had started to feel better, so we went to the dog park and played for awhile, which was awesome, and stopped for ice cream on the way home.  Miles was cranky the rest of the night.

  • ggggreat!

We ate such good quality food this weekend.  Got everything accomplished that I hoped to get done.  DD got a new dollhouse that has been super fun to play with.  But she still claims we need to go to Target to get a dog.

Got a big week - the low is that it is Monday morning - but it is the last week of my school gig!!!  I made it - 9 months.  Now I have to figure out if I want the job next year....But that is not relative to what you asked.

  • We went and watched DH run in a race, went to the fountain splash park, went to a water park, went to the beach, and played in Allie's fountain pool.  It was awesome and filled with sunscreen!  Allie was exhausted.

  • My weekend was okay, nothing too exciting going on since dh always works Saturday and Sunday. I just enjoyed time with our little guy :)

Today is dh's friday though and I'm so excited. We're going to take our LO to get 3 month pics and on Wednesday dh and I will be going bowling while my parents watch L.

It was okay I guess. We spend all day Saturday and most of Sunday in the car driving home from Disney.  Saturday was not bad but the kids were both over it yesterday and it was a long 6 hours in the car. 16hours in a car is not my idea of a fun weekend but it was worth it. Disney World was awesome and the kids loved it!!!!

Not rushed!:)  First weekend in a while where we didn't have to go anywhere.

Got a lot of cleaning done (found my kitchen island, whoo-hoo!) but not a whole lot done outside since it rained.  Looking forward to getting our yard cleaned up!

Busy, some lows and some highs.

Friday night I went to a psychic party which was pretty cool and it was a nice break away from the kids.

Saturday, DH was gone all dayat a track meet so the kids and I hung out at home and then after naps we went to dinner and a little shopping with my sister. By the time we got home, DH was pulling in and was there for baths and bedtime yay!

Sunday was pretty nice weather wise so DH mowed and week wacked. DD and I raked the grass that was lying around while DS sat in the wagon. Then I let the kids play in the sprinkler until DH finished the lawn. Then we ate a picnic lunch in the backyard which I was so excited about!! Unfortunately, DH's firend came over so DH could help him change the exhaust on his truck and it literally took 5 hours. So that meant I had to do dinner, baths and bedtime all by myself. I slaved over homemade sauce and lasagna while the kids napped and DH didn't even get to enjoy it with us! :( That part sucked but the rest of the weekend was pretty good! I was pooped by Sunday night!!

  • Well my weekend goal was to have a baby - but Im still pregnant.  Boo.  So thats a bummer.  Going to be induced on Wednesday, so one way or another I get to cross over from unemployed pregnant lady to SAHM this week.  Wanted to do avoid Pitocin (and epidural) but it is what it is, I'm sure me and baby will be fine.

So DH and I basically enjoyed our last weekend together... if not ever than for a long stinkin time.  We cooked Belgian waffles for breakfast both mornings, went couch shopping, and other than that we were as lazy as possible.  It wasn't so bad really...

  • AMAZING!  DH and I went to Aruba for my friend's wedding for 3 days and had our first get-away!
