Are you doing EC? Or is your DS super potty-advanced?
I've been trying to do a little EC but I think I missed the window in the earlier months. Now B just wants to run around. Sitting anywhere that doesn't involve food isn't happenin'.
Kind of. DS is definitely NOT potty advanced. As far as I know he has no idea he needs to pee. If he does he certainly doesn't let me know.
Some days he doesn't even glance at the potty and some days he only pees on the potty (not in a diaper). It's very hit or miss. I just have him sit on the potty. Then I put a short stool in front of him and we read a book together. A couple of times while reading the book I'll say "Ok buddy, it is time to go pee-pee. Let's go pee-pee!"
Then he magically pees. I don't know why. I just put him on the potty one day and he did it. I didn't try until he was maybe 10 months old. The book is a complete necessity to keep him in one spot. lol. He loves books!
ETA: When he's having a potty day he goes right after he wakes up, every 2 hours, and right after he eats.
Totally butting in here, but Bliss, I'm so thrilled to hear this. Does he ever poop in the potty? My DD is 10 months old, and I started ECing a bit when she was maybe 6 months. It used to be only pees, as I'd put her on when she had just awoken from a nap. Now she hasn't peed in the potty for a month, but she poops in the potty almost every single day.
She's more wiggly now, and will try and wiggle off the potty unless she's about to poop immediately. She'll give me a grumpy face like she wants down, then she'll poop and look all relieved and then clap, haha.
Basically I'm just winging it and wondering how to get her to pee again!

I'd just try to entertain her while she's peeing so maybe she'll stay there. I'm no expert though - I just lucked out. He has never pooped in the potty. He does usually go into the bathroom and shut the door to poop though. He doesn't want me anywhere near him so I just let him be.
