I know you were going to disney soon, but wasn't sure if you already went.  If you did, how was the trip?  We are still trying to decide which parks to go to (or all)..so, I am looking for feedback from those who have gone with younger kids on if we should nix certain parks.  Thanks!

Re: KristenB

  • Yup! We just got back Wednesday. We had a great time. Even Owen loved it, which I wasn't sure how he'd feel about things.

We spent most of our time at the Magic Kingdom, then Epcot, and one day at Hollywood Studios. I think we could have spent 3 full days at the MK and still not have done everything. Epcot was good because we did the princess breakfast and saw the fairies there, and ate a few dinners since we were on a monorail resort so it was easy to hop over, but we didn't do many rides there. Hollywood Studios had a lot of shows that Maggie liked, especially the Disney Junior and Little Mermaid ones.

Animal Kingdom just didn't make the cut, I've heard aside from the safari there's not a ton that little ones would be into and we wanted to focus our time at the MK instead since we were only there 4 nights.

  • Thank you so much for your feedback! I was hesitant about Hollywood studios and epcot because I didn't know how "young kid friendly" it was...but you would say that there is enough there for young kids to make it worth a ticket for the day?  I know MK has tons, I just wasn't sure if I should skip some other parks and have an extra day for MK...we are buying 4 day passes.

Glad you had a great time!
