HI ladies, I have a convertible crib that has been switched into a day bed for my son. He is not interested in the bed, and rarely sleeps in it. My husband thought it may be time for a bigger bed for him. The crib switches to a full sized bed. Is this too big for a toddler? Do you all think it would be better to buy a twin sized bed? Thanks!
Re: Full sized bed for toddler?
At 18 months DS went to the crib mattress on the floor than we got him a twin bed at 2, he sleeps great in it, and feels like a big boy.
ETA: It's next to the wall and has a rail on the other side.
We went from crib to full mattress on the floor at 22 months. About a year later we put the box spring under the mattress. That's all we'll do for awhile because she gets up at night to rearrange her stuffed animals and sometimes even go to the bathroom (woohoo!). I imagine we'll make it onto the frame around fourish.
