Has anyone had success when Hypothyroid?

I know of people who know people with hypothyroidism but I was just wondering if there have been any successful pregnancies with this condition? I was not producing enough hormones for my baby! I have been on Synthroid for 2 weeks now!
TTC #1 since 5/10 BFP 4/9/11 Natural M/C 5/15/11 Hypothyroidism and PCOS Clomid 1/13...

    my mom, my sister, and a bunch of my friends have a hypo and had successful pregnancies. A hypo isnt a problem if it is controlled. I have a hypo as well but it has nothing to do with me losing the baby because it was controlled. I am glad they are getting yours in check :)

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    I would ask the girls on PgAL since most of the ladies here aren't going to have success stories just yet.

    For what its worth I also was just diagnosed as hypothyroid a few months ago and my RE suspects it played a role in my losses. From all of my research I have found that when it is treated and under control the chance of a miscarriage goes back down to normal.  Its a scary diagnosis but I took it as a huge blessing...finally an answer and something that can be treated.

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    I'm sorry for your loss.  When properly treated (and monitored regularly throughout the pregnancy to adjust levels if needed), the rate of success for pregnancies with hypothyroidism is just as the same as the rest of the population.  There is hope!

    Yes! There is hope! Once you are medicated and your numbers are regulated, there is no reason why it should cause a problem! I am also hypothyroid and on synthroid and I have a 4 month old son. It took us a while to have him but here he is!

    i'm sorry for your loss.

    i've had hypothyroid for almost 10 years now. we had one m/c (my levels were normal), one healthy baby, and now this one. she has anenecephaly, but nothing caused from my thyroid.

    just make sure you get your levels tested often. i usually get checked every 6 months. while pregnant it's been every 6 weeks.

    it's definitely possible!
