NIP-Proud of myself. =)

We went to the zoo yesterday and I walked around the zoo while nursing my baby.  I used a nursing cover while we were out in the sun, but when we went indoors or in the shade I moved the cover off of him and used a burp cloth to cover the top of my boob. 

I'm proud of myself for just doing it and not caring if people stared or not.  My brother didn't even realize I was doing it (he's a weenie about that stuff, he ran out of the room when I lifted my shirt to show my mom my pregnant belly) 

I've also nursed him at two restaurants.  Go me!

    That is awesome. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. I forgot my nursing cover when I took DD to the city for the day and it turned out to be good practice for me!

    Awesome! I nursed at my friend's party yesterday with just a receiving blanket over me. (I think it helped that the guests were all people like artists, yoga instructors, meditation teachers, etc. :-) How uptight could they be, right?

    Way to go mama!

    NIP has gotten easier for me now that Genevieve is a little bigger.  I have tried going places where I feel comfortable NIP just to practice without pressure (like IKEA, Cotten Babies, the park, my back yard).  It seems kind of funny to go somewhere just to nurse, but it helps going through the motions to make it more rountine.
