Infant Daycare

I am due with my first child in December and plan on keeping my job part-time. Is it too early to be lining up a daycare for an infant? Does anyone in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area have a recommendation?

    We use Care a Lot. They only accept full time but are very reasonable. There are at least 2 other bumpies who are currently using them or have in the past.

    It's definitely not too early to start looking, we started looking last month and are due in November. I checked out several places in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area and would have gone with

    They are an in home provider and they seemed absolutely excellent. She will have one opening for an infant in December so you might want to contact Fawntina right away for a tour. Her e-mail address is  fawntinagregg@yahoo.com

    I spoke with her a few weeks ago, and she was due to have a little one of her own any day so it might take her a few days to reply. You can tell her that Ally sent you, we corresponded  via e-mail for several weeks and she was super responsive with all my questions and inquiries. The ONLY reason we are not using her services is my best friend has offered to nanny for us for almost nothing, and well I can't really pass that up. 

    Good luck in your search. One thing I can tell you is The Goddard School is OUTRAGEOUSLY  priced and they basically refused to give me any type of price point without coming in.

    Here is a good list to start with https://www.daycareresource.com/statelistings/oregon/oregonhillsboro.html I just went on a mass e-mailing spree over the course of a few days asking a series of questions regarding availability, price etc. I found a lot of options did not take infants, had no openings or were just way to expensive.

    I use to work at Learning Tree Day School in Beaverton and I loved going to work everyday and would totally put my child in that facility as I am due in July. They started taking infants at 6 weeks.
