I am 90% certain my water broke, but I'm just hanging out here eating some enchiladas for awhile. No contractions, so who knows when I'll get to eat again?

Nothing wrong with it. I plan on taking my time getting to the hospital if my water breaks too....its not a freaking emergency!

Eat while you can!! I should have started eating when my water broke but thought I would still have time later on. 10hrs later my little guy was born and I traded him off shortly after for a bowl of Cherrios. lol. I was so hungry.

Can you make sure you include in your birth story if you puke up the enchiladas?

I was thinking about this today.. and how I was going to shove my face full of food on the way to the hospital, but I don't want to puke it up in labor

FWIW, I was induced and didn't get to eat after midnight. 9pm the next night I was pushing and ended up puking - with no food on my stomach, which hurts! So I say eat up!!

I did not throw up!!! But I was in labor for 39 long hours....so I'm really glad I ate!

About 24 hours into it, my DH sneaked in 4 chicken nuggets from Chick Fil A (no sauce though) and I also drank a glass of apple juice and ate three graham crackers.

I'm not sure I should have had the food after the enchiladas though as I got incredibly nauseous and had to have an IV of phenegren which just made me feel yuck. Then during my pushing I had to have DH grab the bucket meant for my placenta because I thought I was going to be sick everywhere. Never did actually vomit, but not a good feeling!
