Seriously, H is driving me insane. 2 years ago he was having what we thought were gallbladder attacks. We went to the hospital and they did tests but him being a hard head, he refused the ultrasound to check his gallbladder. So, now for the past 2 years on and off he has these crazy sick episodes. He's having one now. He's cranky and being a jerk, which I understand he doesn't feel good, but seriously go to the Dr! I think he's afraid of what they'll say. It doesn't help he's overweight and his bp is high, which he denys. I just don't get it. Why not get checked instead of being in pain?

Re: How do you convince your H to go to the Dr?
use the kids to guilt him into going. He can't crap out on his kids yet!
*edited because I can't fuckingtype!
If it makes you feel any better mine won't go to the Dr. and he IS a Dr.
Tell your husband either he goes or you don't want to hear any whining when his gallbladder acts up. Because it's his own fault if he wants to continue to suffer through them.
Then ask him whether he would like to meet with a Dr. and get a good reccomendation for a GOOD surgeon and schedule an outpatient proceedure OR he can wait until it becomes emergent at 3 am on a Sat night (because it always happens at 3 am on a Sat night) and he can pray that:
1. The surgeon isn't tied up with a stabbing or gunshot victim.
2. The surgeon isn't an inept moron with 10 gallbladder mal-practice suits.
3. The OR staff and surgeon aren't tired and pissed off because they were all snugg in their beds until he walked in.
