Really want to get back into shape! I know this looks super hard, but its 60days and Im very motivated! Husband and I would do together. Please share thoughts if you or a friend has tried this!
My sister works out for between 3 and 4 hours 5 days a week. She got Insanity recently and said it is super hard and she can't even keep up sometimes. My FA (Fat A$$) has no experience but if my sister can't keep up I think I would die! GL

I barely made it through the fitness test that is at the beginning. I'm sure it would get you into shape quickly and although I would love my old body back, I think I'm gonna have to do a less intense exercise program. That was hell for me lol. You'll see what I mean once you try the fitness test
A friend's husband did this workout. She said he lost all fat on him and is a little more chiseled. She said it was so boring to watch him. He does the same thing over and over again before going to a different ex. She said it looked really rough and she could only do about 20 minutes before giving up. You do a lot of jumping, so if you have knee problems, it may not be a good choice.
I say if you are motivated, go for it, but also it is a pretty penny for just dvd's. I would see if you could download it free somewhere.
A friend of mine just told me today that her BIL tried it and was on the floor dry heaving (may be a bit of an exaggeration on her part lol) after doing only the warm up. I'm going to try the 30 day shred.
I finished this workout last june 12 weeks pregnant. It is hard. My husband and I did it together (after finishing p90x.) We could not keep up with them and had to take more breaks than they did. But it will definitely get you back in shape. You just have to pace yourself. I know many people that have tried it and always stop half way through, I recommend pacing yourself and finishing the dvd every time.
The people on the dvd can't even do it the whole time and are dying through some of the dvds.
I did this for about 5-6 weeks before I found out I was pregnant and the Dr. told me to hold off until after she was born since it is so intense, but I loved it! and I plan on resuming it in about a week. It is HARD but it feels awesome, I loved tracking my progress and seeing how I improved - I could barely keep up the first two weeks, but the nice part is, you just have to try your best and push yourself alittle and before you know it it's easier.
I also got it off of amazon way cheaper than the infomercial
I'm currently on my 2nd round of insanity. I LOVE this workout. It is a real challenge.
I have worked out regularly for years and I worked out throughout the pregnancy, so I was dying to try something advanced to help get the baby weigh off. This system works if you put the effort in.
It's a lot of jumping, so if you have knee probs, you may want to try something else.
if you are not an advanced exerciser, this is not the program for you. Start with something easier first.
I have about 3 weeks left of original insanity. My hubby bought me the next series Insanity:the Asylum for mother's day. Can't wait to start that program! I am a workout geek.
