OUCH!

So, what do you all think?

I've been having strong crampy contractions since yesterday evening. They are consistent at times, but then they are sporatic at other times. They are strong enough to wake me out of my sleep. Nonetheless, I am still able to get around and do stuff. Sounds like early labor, right? Well, I don't want to go to the hospital and get sent home, but the contractions are very painful and close together at times. Should I just stick it out? I am in my 40th week. We are due Thursday. The pain is annoying, but somehow bearable. Should I just go through this for the night and wait it out? What would you do??? Please, only SERIOUS REPLIES! Thanks!

    Last week when I went into I guess "early labor" the contractions were annoying but bearable...they started around 3am Friday morning and woke me up...by 3pm that afternoon they were getting stronger..10pm that evening they were killing me! I was in so much pain and I couldn't imagine even trying to sleep that night so I went to the hospital and sure enough I was 2cm dilated and I was admitted! I say if they are unbearable then go to the hospital!!!
