i didn't make the tabs big enough for it to fit ds, but i think it should fit a newborn-<12lb baby pretty well. (that's what my original pattern was based off of)  i'll try it out on ds though just to see how it fits to see how i should alter it for next time.

  • Coo!  Maybe you could find something to extend the tabs so they'd fit bigger babies too?

I was just thinking this morning how much I love PFs and snappis.  They are so easy.  DS had outgrown his infant pfs and I just got some yellow edged GMDs to put on him and I got all warm and fuzzy with the simplicity of them.

So yeah... I think pre-fitteds are awesome!

  • That's awesome. I love our pf's as well. I've noticed that those are what's working the best for DS' sensitive skin lately. And DD wears fitteds or pf's 99% of the time. What about a piece of fabric going around the back that would be able be wing like for tabs?
  • that's a great idea! i hadn't thought of that... do you think flannel would hold a snappi?

  • I'm not sure that flannel would hold, but you could try it.  For sure a knit would hold.
