Justin James is here! pip

Hey ladies, I'm sorry I've been mia for awhile due to getting ready for and having the baby but i wanted to share him with you. On Wednesday, May 11 I had a scheduled c-section but started to have labor pains around 4:30am. They continued to get worse but I assumed it was just braxton hicks. When we got to the hospital, the nurse told me the contractions were 5 min apart and we'd have to hurry the doctors along before they got closer. I was terrified and had a moment of "What was I thinking? I can't do this!" but it passed and the c/s wasn't as bad as I anticipated.

At 9:12am, Justin James was born and handed to my husband! He was 6 lbs 13 ounces (smaller than all the predictions! so take that, GD!) and 19 inches long. He was wide awake and alert as DH held him close to me so that I could see and kiss him as they finished up on me. It was the most amazing day of my life He looks just like DH, its so cute!!
