Silas was born! PIP

Silas Jameson was born May 18 at 5:26 pm, weighing 7 pounds 7 oz and 21 1/2 inches long :) He is perfect and healthy and we are all doing good.

I woke up at 6 am on May 18 to go to the bathroom, and I realized I lost my mucous plug. I was excited but didn't want to get my hopes up. Soon after, contractions started coming every 3-4 minuets. They were only 35 seconds long, and not very painful so I was skeptical.

We decided to go get checked by my MW and couldn't believe it when she told me I was already 6 cm!!! We arrived at the hospital at around 11am. My MW never told me when to push, I just totally gave in to what my body was trying to do and it was such an amazing experience.
I feel so blessed to have gotten the natural, drug free, birth I wanted, and to have this amazing little boy!
