Has anyone tried those Veet wax strips? The commercial is so convincing that I want to try them but I'm a-scared. Do they work? Does it hurt? I've only had my legs waxed once for my wedding, but I've never attempted to do it myself and 28 days of nice smooth legs is very appealing.

Re: NBR, Not Clique related, no call outs
if i wasnt a biitch i may answer you.
I don't think you're a biitch. I just know you post alot, and i was going by names that I remembered. My DH name is Frank, so you're SN is easy to remember. But it shouldn't matter what I think. I'm just jealous and angry that i'm not apart of anyones clique.

Thank you for answering though. I'm going to buy them and give them a try.
I post a lot because I own an online boutique and work from home. And basically have no life. And I kinda love everyone.I am not really offended,I just think you got a lot of people wrong. That's all. We are actually a pretty great crowd. Some of the people you called out were newbies a month or so ago. Those of us who have been around longer took a while to get to know them, but now we talk. You can make some pretty awesome friends around here if you avoid stepping on toes.
And no prob.

Where did this go down? Linky!
The bolded part above! I'm one of those newbies, BTW, I just have a lot of posts because I jumped right in and started whoring myself around. Because (as the other bolded part states) I have no life and I'm online all day.
BTW, uluv, what kind of online boutique do you have? That sounds like a very glam job!
And, KrisNolan, I like Sally Hansen's wax strips for face waxing (I've got some man like facial hair), and for larger areas I use another Sally Hansen's product (it's in a small plastic tub). You warm it up, put it on and the wax hardens and you take it off. It's painful so I just drink a lot of wine before applying.
Right? How else is a girl supposed to bring home the dough? BTW, I could be your step mother. I think about that too much. That means I'm going to tell you what to do and you're going to DO IT!
Ohhh...Magic Shaving Powder, I've never heard of such a thing. But i'm intriged. Who makes it?
@Sodelish- I don't have any facial hair ::knock on wood:: I'm Irish and very fair skinned/haired, but every since have DD my leg hair is out of control and I hate shaving every other day. (I used to only have to shave maybe once a week). My once blonde leg hair has turned into dark brown. Thank you all for your input. Maybe we could start a waxing clique? anyone? anyone? too soon?
This is one of the many reasons why I love you Uluv.
But how long before you have to do it again? I thought it only dissolved stuff on surface and you have to do it as often as shaving.

I use it once a week. It is a replacement for shaving so it needs to be used more frequently than waxing, but it doesn't hurt and is cheap and effective.
@krisnolan: It's in the mens shaving section at walmart. It's an alternative for shaving for black men and is made to prevent razor bumps.
