Trying to Get Pregnant

b!tching for 1 (or more if you want to join..)

I need to b!tch. I am sick of seeing all of these teenagers or drug addicts "accidently" get pregnant. There are so many women that have trouble or cant get pregnant that deserve to be mothers and then you have girls that can't take care of themselves let alone a baby get pregnant. Not trying but certainly not preventing it either. Then they complain during their entire pregnancy about how horrible it is and how their life is over, yadda yadda yadda. Makes me want to scream! I would give anything to be miserible because im pregnant and I would gladly take any pregnancy symptom. It would mean im pregnant!!

Ok off my soap box.

hope you ladies have a great weekend.

I know we can't control it and 9 times out of 10 it doesn't bother me but lately its been an over kill. I work in a NICU/LDRP so I see it a lot. Lately its been a few times a week. Just gets really annoying.

And the fact that we are now on cycle 10 doesn't help either Super Angry

  • I feel the same. Just found out my 21 year old cousin is pregnant again. She has a baby who just turned one. She recently decided to take a bus to California from Iowa to move into her new boyfriend's mother?s house. This is the father of the new baby, but the 1 year old has a different father. Of course, he has now moved out and is living with a new girlfriend so she is living with his mother. She has no job, and has never had a job. She complains on facebook all the time about how hard it is. I can't stand it! I feel bitter and angry and feel sorry for the kids. The cycle will just continue with her kids.

  • I feel ya on this one.  I notice it more now since DH and I want a baby so badly.

My best friend when I was very young grew up to have a lot of problems...drug addiction, jail time, rehab, etc.  She also gave birth to two gorgeous babies.  Those babies are now in the custody of her parents.  I sometimes think how unfair it is that so many women who are prepared for motherhood and want a baby so badly have such a hard time getting KU, but those who can't even keep their children keep getting pregnant.

  • I agree completely! When I was pregnant with DD a "friend" wound up having an unplanned pregnancy and she griped and griped her whole pregnancy about how miserable she was. I realize that not every moment of pregnancy is going to be sunshine and daisies, but if you don't want a baby keep your &^%$ legs closed then! I wound up separating myself from her because as much as I tried cheering her up I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I also have a very immature 20 year old cousin who just had a baby earlier this month and she has managed to turn the ordeal into a circus while I am sitting here silently TTC with DH.

Oh I totally feel you. I work with a lot of different types of people - all have children. (Most of their children have mental, emotional, behavioral or social challenges.) Many of the parents are having some societal social challenges (no job, on the verge of losing housing, homeless, etc). It drives me up a wall that DH and I are TTC and these women are coming back KU while they're still having all these issues. The ones that esp. get me are the ones that don't have a man in their life and can't figure out who the father is. While I don't believe you need to be married to have a baby, being in a committed relationship is generally what I would like to see. At least TRY to prevent it!
