my pedi said to not put anything on it the old skin needs to come off. She is three weeks old and most of the scaling is gone now.

At first I tried using nothing either, like they said. The peeling never went away though and he started to get itchy from it. He would actaully rub his hand over and over the dry spots and get fussy. As soon as I used the cream it stopped peeling and he stopped itching at it. Guess every baby is different. I personally don't like Aveeno once I looked at the ingredients list.
