Can I AW for a sec? NER

It seems like this is becoming my home board and I'm just so excited that my girls both met their long term goals and graduated from Physical Therapy today.

They were born at 35 weeks so they started out below the curve for their actual age developmentally, but as of today they are both right on track.  Our therapist told me today that it usually takes 2 years so they are doing great!

They also both had a tilt and Charlie (my girl in the helmet) only liked to look to to the left, but now they are both perfectly straight and have full range of motion.  We finished up a few months ahead of schedule!

It is kind of lame, but it will be so nice to not have weekly appointments 40 minutes away and have my girls be on the right path.

Thanks for reading.

  • Oh that is so exciting! The lack of driving is huge, and I love that they're both doing so well in addition to being so stinkin cute!

  • WOOT!

It's never lame to rejoice in having more free time to spend with your babies, instead of driving.

  • Thanks ladies!  It is a big relief for me.  I get so worried about them falling behind developmentally and it doesn't help being surrounded by so many full term IRL babies.  Every one tells you that twins are different, but you don't really know how different until you experience it.

  • Congrats! They're such cuties, too :D

Also, I have twin brothers. They're turning 18 this summer. They were born at 35 weeks, too. And one of them was on a ventilator for a few weeks, but now they're great! Graduating high school in a few weeks, one is water polo captain, the other is colorguard captain, and they're still best friends and always have been. But, now my family is a little nervous for them because they were accepted to different colleges, so.. we'll see how that goes!
