Even though I've struggled so much with the bfing, I'm not ready to give it up yet.
And even though my office is really not conducive to pumping since we have no fridge and I walk a mile each way to and from work, I'm going to give it a shot.
We'll see how long this lasts, but I just can't give it up without at least giving it a shot.
I go back to work in a week and my supervisor found me an unused conference room that I can use to pump.
Especially when I'm come this far with the bfing...I've managed to wean B down to about 5 oz of formula a day, which is huge given we started with her taking up to 18 of formula a day at the height of my issues.
Re: I decided to give it a go at bfing when I'm back to work
Good for you!
You're doing the best for her, no matter how it turns out.

Totally! Hey- it's worth a try.
Good luck! I have to admit, I've kind of slacked off since I've been at work. I started out pumping 3x a day, and then it was 2x and now it's basically 1x. I have no obstacles (my own office) and we have a fridge. But I find myself getting wrapped up in my day and then my pumping time has come and gone. My goal was to make it until 6 months...we'll see.
Definitely get yourself a hands-free bra if you haven't already. I have a Simple Wishes bra and it allows me to continue working while pumping.
