How many swaddle blankets did you register for?

With our daughter we had three great swaddle designs blankets and I would have liked 1 or 2 more.

Actually I just went through my sons stuff tonight, he just turned 1 and between swaddle blankets, blankets in general and receiving blankets I had 11 unopened ones that I will be taking to a consignment shop this week to try and sell/trade.

My son wasn't swaddled/burrito wrapped past 6 weeks.

With DD we had 2 or 3 of the SwaddleMe blankets and I wish we had more. I just bought another one to use with DS.

I'm registered for 1 or 2, I think.. but I'm planning on using regular blankets for this purpose if I don't receive them. I've got a coupon for the Halo Sleep sack and I plan on getting it if I have any gift card money. I don't know if LO will like a swaddle so I'll wait & see for awhile, depending on what I get @ baby shower.

I already have 1 swaddleme and my mom bought me another three pack. I registered for a bunch of sleepsacks though because its the only thing he's allowed to use at daycare in the crib. So I registered for two in each size.

I didn't register for any... and we didn't get any!

But, I went to Babies R Us last weekend and got five (for our twins). If we like them, and need more, I'll go back and get more. They were running a special, "buy 3, get 20% off" -- so we bought one 3-pack of neutral colors, one in a pink tone and one in a blue tone.

On my registry I have one swaddleme blanket (large) and one sleep sack (small).

I already purchased a small swaddleme blanket I found on clearance and my mom made me a 3 larger sized sleep sacks.

I have purchased about 5 swaddle/recieving blankets on sale and have no more on my registry. Though I think I have a few cute patterned fleece blankets.

I figured the blankets are handy to have to lay the baby on and burp the baby with/wipe up spit up if a actual burp pad isn't handy and cover the baby with. So when I find them on sale and cute I by them.... plus I have a slight shopping addiction

none. I used regular receiving blankets with DS, and will again--they worked just fine. The ones we got from the hospital were our favorites for swaddling.

with our first we just used regular receiving blankets and later the sleep sack. this time around I'm going to get aden + anais muslin blankets to swaddle with. especially since it'll be summer.
