I know many of you are very passionate about teaching and teachers in general. I just thought I would pass this blog along. It's was just started by my best friends dad who is a retired teacher (he taught history @ Loveland Jr.High) now that he is retired he has been spending the last few years writing a book about education and teachers in the U.S. and I've read bits and pieces of his book and its really interesting so I am sure this blog will be good. He is a great writer and really dynamic.

    Thanks for sharing!  I went to Loveland for Middle & High School - didn't have him but I do remember him!

    Very interesting! I spent my TGIF with my school friends at a local bar yesterday. There were teachers there from Patterson-Kennedy, a Dayton Public elementary school that is being closed. We visited with them and it was the most.depressing.conversation.ever. We had some time to talk about SB5 and how they feel and what will happen to their students. Heartbreaking. It is unbelievable how complicated our education problems are.
