I have been on the bump for awhile now, but have spent most of my time on my birth month board. Now that LO is here, I figure that I would check out the local board and see if I cant meet some mommas in my area. Even though DH and I moved into our house in Zimmerman 2  years ago, we really don't know that many people in the area. Especially those with LOs. Im hoping that by being active on this board, I will be able to get to know you ladies, specifically moms in my area. It would be great to know more people and have friends who have or are experiencing similar things, as we are only the second couple in our groups of friends that have a child. 

If you are from Elk River/Zimmerman/Princeton area I would love to get to know others from the area close to our home.

    Hi & welcome your Lo is so cute. There is a group of moms from here that live around your area & I think they are starting a playgroup (check a few post down)

    I replied to you in the playgroup post below before I read this.  I'm in Zim and don't know all that many people here yet either (I've only been here for 2.5 yrs, moved for DH).  Like you I have a rather little one, and I'd be interested in meeting up for some mommy socialization like coffee since LOs are still too young to really play.

    send me a pm with your email address. I have a few people that I got email addresses from to start up a play group in zimmerman/ER area. I will try to send out an email to everybody on Monday.

    Feel free to come to playgroup, even if you have a little one. A few of us have been getting together since their kids were newborns, and I know I am expecting another baby in October. Its just nice to gtg with other moms, and not have to find sitters or worry about entertaining non-mommy friends who really just don't get it when you have to stop listening to them mid-story to comfort/feed whatever.

    Once we get to know each other, we can always plan mommys night/morning outs too!
