The boys have had colds and ear infections lately, and I caught the bug a few days ago. It kept getting progressively worse, so when I woke up this morning and could barely talk, I went to the doctor. Turns out I have a badass throat infection resulting in laryngitis. I'm on antibiotics and have been told to take some time off from work, which my supervisor is being a *** about (he's an ass anyway, but this really annoys me - yes, I KNOW we're short staffed, but I'm sick and contagious and can't talk to patrons anyway so WTF dude?).

*sigh*

Can I get some healthy vibes up in here? I'd appreciate it. Smile

Yup, the same thing. I don't know why they're called grommets here - I thought that was a sewing term?

Ha! I knew I wasn't crazy.

In related news, Ben's parents used to have a dog named Grommet. Or maybe Gromit. Not sure about the spelling. Anyway, I've always wondered where they got the name (it was before the whole Wallace & Gromit thing). I should ask one of these days!
