So we've had a busy time around our place lately.  MIL is finally starting to feel better. After her heart scare she ended up in the hospital with appendicitis.  My folks were in town for Rachel's birthday too.

Rachel also decided to start walking on Friday the 13th. A day I won't forget. 

She was very social during her party and only got mad one time when another baby touched her mom. :) Here are some pics from her party.

    and mexine can you believe it?  we have one year olds after all the problems TTC, now we have the joyous job of being a parent.

    Thanks everyone!!!  I think she is pretty stinking cute myself but I know I'm very biased :)  The cake was fun to make. I made 11 cake balls (mini sports ball pan) so all of the guests had their own piece. It really was a great day.  Thanks again!

    Belated Happy Birthday to Rachel, those pictures are great and it looks like she had a blast on her birthday.  And wow - I was going to comment on what a great cake and then I read your post that you made it yourself - that is really awesome!!
