I had my non-stress test at the hospital this morning, and the baby looks totally healthy (and the fluid level is great as well). Since everything looked fine, the OB is allowing me to wait another week before inducing. If I don't go into labour on my own, I'll be induced next Friday (the 27th) at 41 weeks 6 days! It's at least given me something to count down to; the days since my due date passed have gone by so slowly!
Married to my best friend 6/5/10

BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
Re: Non-Stress Test Results!
I really don't want an induction, although I am ready to have this baby. I really think I'll go into labour on my own within the next week, but I do worry that I'll be induced and end up requiring a C-section (which happened with a friend of mine recently).

Glad everything looks great and you bought yourself some more time. Hopefully, you go into labor in the next couple of days and it is a moot (sp?) point.
Even if you ARE induced, inductions can go smoothly. My friend was induced yesterday (at 41 weeks) and was closed up like a vault, and she had no issues, and no c-section. In fact she had a baby by 4pm (though they did start Cervidal the night before). Obviously not ideal, but sometimes they go easy peasy.
Your patience is commendable, btw. Im at my wit's end at 40 weeks!
This is exactly how I feel. My NSTs have all been good, my amniotic fluid levels are great, and I am all closed up. I'll be induced starting with cervidil on Sunday night at 42 weeks if he he doesn't come before then. I feel equally anxious about a possible induction, and my LO being so overdue. I never thought I'd be pregnant this long!
