FFFC

I don't think this has been posted yet.  Is everyone too busy enjoying the sun?

Re: FFFC

  • My DH comes home tonight from a week long business trip, I didn't miss him as much as he would have liked me to.  Actually I miss my old girl Jasmine more, and I only sort of feel bad about it.

  • I want to smack my mother. She is being completely idiotic. She is coming to visit this weekend and we are going to dinner. Originally we were going to go to dinner in Seattle and then H and I were going to the Sounders match. Well last weekend we went to a match and took Edmund and I really didn't get to enjoy the match because the second half I spent upstairs watching on the tv. We decided it was best to stay over here and be closer to home. She threw a hissy fit because we are celebrating and there aren't any nice enough restaurants on this side of the water.

  • Lately every time I watch "Pregnant in Heels" and "16 & Pregnant" I cry, especially when Rosie talks about her baby making troubles

I'm not sad that Oprah's show is finally ending.  I don't really like her, I think she's a little bit annoying although I do admire all that she's accomplished

I resent the fact that my husband sleeps through most of G's nighttime wake periods & occasionally will be a little louder than necessary trudging back to bed.  Passive aggressive I know but when I'm running on 3 hrs of sleep, I get a little cranky.

I'm trying to lose weight but plan on eating at least 2 cupcakes tomorrow when I get together with my friends.

  • I love the sunshine, this weather has lifted my spirits and almost everyone I come in contact with is nice and warm and sweet, BUT

The day light hours are killing me.  W is up hours early, when the sun comes up.  He gets up to pee and sees that it's sunny and wants to stay up instead of curl up back in bed.  We are outside as long as possible so he's in bed late and then he's super cranky.

And traffic has been a wreck I think becuse everyone wants to get home early and play.

  • One of my clients has been a total mess this last week.  Like, crazy.  And it is making everyone on my team want to walk out.  Today when I was talking to one of my buyers and he was venting about why she has been such a wreck lately I actually said "well, she's pregnant you know?!"

I felt like a giant as$hole after I said it.  But, I'll be the first to admit that I was BSC during my first tri.

I told at an older lady off (sort of) at Green Lake yesterday.

Max was having the mother of all tantrums on the way home. He was screaming and crying and he kept pushing the shade on the stroller up. This woman said to me, "I think he's crying because the sun is really hurting his eyes!" I looked at her with what must have been the b!tchiest face and sternly said, "That is ABSOLUTELY not why he is throwing a tantrum!"She started in on me and I just held up my hand to her like "b!tch please!" and kept on walking.

I felt like a complete jackass after I had time to think about it. After all, she was just trying to be "helpful," but I was not in the mood for anyone telling me why my toddler was having a fit at that time!

Way to stick up for yourself. It bugs me when other people think they know what is best for your child.

  • Last week when Starbucks was having the 1/2 off fraps, I went a couple times through the drive through. I got the same high school guy at the window each day and each day he got friendlier and friendlier. The last day I went, I pulled up to the window and he started talking about how I was back again and then started hitting on me (with Ella in full view in the back seat!). It got kind of awkward and then he handed me my drink and we said bye. I got home and got to thinking... I never even paid him! I was just wanting to get out of there and he was embarrassed because I wasn't into him flirting with me so he never asked for the money and I just left once I got my drink! Oooops!

  • I strive to not be a materialistic person. I try hard to reduce, reuse, and recycle. I am, however, going to Lowes for the third time this week to drool over the things I could do to upgrade our new house. It's fine the way it is, so I don't know why I'm not satisfied.

Oh please.  You live on Bainbridge, not in Belfair.

(I'm calling out your mom, not you ;)

DH and I had our wedding reception at Molly Ward Gardens and it's absolutely gorgeous and pretty fancy.  It's in Poulsbo, if you want to try something different.

Payton is the same way.  She has been getting up before 6am (more like 5:15-5:30) for the past couple of weeks and it's killing me!  But the last couple of nights I decided to take her potty when I go to bed (10:30ish) and it has helped.  Today she got up at 6:05 :)  Hey, I'll take what I can get.

My FFFC: A friend has property for sale in Chelan and is willing to give us a killer deal to buy it off of him (they are trying to move out of state and need the cash).  I really don't want to take on another bill at this time, but it's a dream of DH's to own property over there.  I told my friend that I wasn't even going to tell DH about the property, but I totally caved!!  DH spent several hours on Google Earth last night looking at it and is at the bank today trying to figure out if we can afford it.  I really really regret bringing it up now.  Both DH and my friend are super excited about the possibilities and I'm in the freakin middle.  I need to learn to keep my big mouth SHUT.  @#(%&@#$

  • I can't get over how little general financial knowledge (401ks, Flex spending accounts etc) some of my co-workers have.  Our company was recently sold (a good thing- to a great company) and we now get their benefits (a very good thing) so we had a meeting to discuss it.  They were clueless as to what was being explained to them.

Math and finances are not my strong suit but I looked like a CFO compared to them.

I am playing around with the idea of trying to talk dh into trading in the mini van.  He might kill me and hide me in it, as we haven't even had it a year.

  • The boys and I are supposed to go to Omak next weekend with DH and my MIL. Brians sister has completely lost it, like mental hospital lost it, and Brian needs to go pack up and move her stuff. He was there a weekend ago ffor packing.

anyway we all are sharing a hotel room (yes MIL too) and I am starting to have second thoughts about going. NOT becuause of sharing the hotel room with MIL but becuase Brian wants to take the truck over and not our car. our car is so nice and roomy and we all get squished in the truck.

petty I know but damn if I have to sleep in the same room with MIL my ride over there (somethign like 4 hours?) should at least be comfortable.

DH & I are having a night out tonight whilst my parents have Coop for the night. I don't know what I am more looking forward to - a nice dinner out with just DH or a sleep in tomorrow :)

I do love it, but I feel like for daily use it's too much.  I like the idea of a Pilot, so 3rd row but not huge.  We didnt even look at them because I loved the idea of "magic doors" which is nice with small kiddos, but I am beginning to think we might be done having kiddos.  Sad on all accounts to me.  I love being pregnant, and would love a 3rd, but not sure it's a good idea considering they would need to visit me at the loony bin.

  • I only have 4ish months left at my job, and it definitely shows.  This job makes me hate people more and more every day, and I find myself thinking that it would be SO cool if I got taken out of work and put on bedrest early, and then I remember that it would NOT be cool, becuase bedrest + a toddler = no fun for anyone...

on the plus side, I also have to start writing down all my celebrity stories so when I am finally out of this hellhole I can share with everyone =)

I am jealous of this because on most days I hate my job.  I secretly want to tell off clients all the time and get fired and collect unemployment.  If I knew I was quitting for good and ddin't need the reference, I totaly would just be a dumb ass for like a week and see how long it would take to get fired.

  • I am bummed and I cried when we got the phone call Logan didn't make all-stars in baseball. Logan cried too but only because I think he thought I was disappointed in him. I was bummed because now we have to find summer camps and other activities for him to do. It isn't cheap for summer camps and we don't have the $$ at the moment.

We had a baseball game tonight and we beat the other team. Their coach is the head coach for the all-stars and they are our co-champs of the league. The dad's almost brawled and our team called out the ref a few times. I thought we were going to be "that story on the news".

  • DH and I got our groove on last night for the first time in months.  I honestly was too tired, but felt like I'd better do it because I've been feeling so sad and unattractive lately.  It was pretty awesome, although I realize now that all of the condoms are from before E and are expired, which freaks me out a bit.

School is out in 2 1/2 weeks and one of my students has completely checked out and is purposely having a good time refusing to work, just to have fun making drama in the classroom.  She wanders around, takes 2000 trips to the bathroom, doodles on her papers, takes 10 minutes to put things away in her desk, etc.  I tried calling her mom to talk about it, and all she said was, "Oh, you know kids..."  Even her friends feel like she's ruining our last few weeks together, and normally we all love our little classroom community.  i realize she's anxious about the transition to middle school and this is part of the way she's dealing with it, but I'm SO tempted to send my student home and tell her to come back to school when she's ready to work with the rest of us.  (I guess that's more of a vent).

I dont have a van but my acadia is as big as one and I would not trade it in for the world! remember how sad I was when we almost had to get rid of it? I figure this way with all this room we are set with being able to take friends with us when we go places and when its just us we have tons of room for going on trips and camping and such. It might seem like alot now but they wont be little forever
