How many bibs do you go through?

I have been FLYING through bibs, mainly b/c they haven been getting soaked. Sometimes it's from solids but mainly drool. How many bibs do you go through? I think I need to make LO a few more-can't hurt right?

Also, how do you keep your LO's neck dry? I constantly change the bib, wipe then pat dry. I've even put some cornstarch under there. It got so bad that he had little red marks

Waaaaaay too many. She drools like crazy! I feel like she's on the Oscars but instead of wardrobe change it's bib change!

I've been using the drooler bibs from Apple Tree Boutique and can get through a whole day with just 1 usually. I use different bibs for solids, though (the pull over ones that are big and cover most of his body at this point).

They go VERY quickly when she posts them. If you "like" her on Facebook, she posts when she loads them onto Etsy or when she takes custom orders on her website.

If you sew, you could probably make your own.

We go through tons of bibs.. I like the ones from carter's because they don't seem to soak through. We have 9 of those and then a bunch of crappy thin ones. We go through the 9 in a day, give or take.. he spits up a ton and he drools like crazy.. and if it gets anywhere near his mouth, he's got his tongue out all over it.

ETA: After he has a bath I put baby powder ALL over in his neck folds and his armpits.. both spots seem to get kind of raw and the skin starts to break down if I don't. Within a couple of days of doing that I noticed a huge difference. He hates to have it done but it does help.

For neck: We wash, dry, and then put a layer of Vaseline in there. It seems to help keep it from getting so red. The Vaseline also helps when she gets those red cheeks from drooling all day.

We go through approx 7/day. We use the Carter's ones that have the waterproofing inside, but then she grabs it and chews on it and the back ends up getting wet. Also, I've noticed that she spits up a lot more-as in large clear puddle on the floor-now that she's drooling so much.

I loved reading this post to realize I am not the only one!! My baby goes through at least 6-8 bibs per day, he drools constantly and spits up a lot. I love the drooler bibs!!! We keep his neck dry just by wiping it constantly and bathing him. I hope the drooling ends soon!!!!

When DS was at his all time high from reflux we went through probably 5 bibs a day plus 3 clothing changes. It was horrible. His neck folds were so red and raw because we had to keep wiping him down. I finally went out and bought some Calednula Cream(california baby) and put it on him after every bath and it took care of the chappness that was happening. He has since gotten better with his reflux though....now if I can just get him to swallow his spit we would be set until he starts teething, lol.
