First Period???TMI

So my baby is 3 months old and i stopped bleeding about 7 weeks PP because at 6 weeks I had to have a D&C because i had retained placenta. But since then I am still spotting, brown sometimes and then pink sometimes, but i havent had a break. Now I actually started my period because its more than usual. Should I see my Ob to ask if this is normal? Am i going to bleed forever it freakin feels like I am

Yep- I would run it by my OB just to be certain. I was 6 weeks on PP, 6 weeks off and AF just showed up last week. I'm glad- I had anxiety constantly about it and whether or not I was KU- seriously drove me bonkers.

My first PP period was crazy heavy and long. And I had started BCP already, so I thought it would just be normal. But it was insane--I was bleeding through the heaviest tampons in just a few hours. I called my dr and she said it was totally normal and if it didn't slow down in a few days to call back. But it did slow, and then it ended up being about an 8 day period (when usually mine are like 4-5 and light). I hope your bleeding finally subsides after this!

I had my period/spotting for over a month. During my 2nd period I had naturally expelled leftover placenta. My OB informed me that, if after my current period, I continued to spot and stop and start then I needed to come in and have a D&C because there could very well be more placenta retained. I would go in to see your OB to make sure they didn't miss anything with the D&C. It is normal, however, for your first period to be a gusher. I personally would probably wait to see what happens after your 1st actual period stops(or seems to stop) but if it continues to stop and start or spot then go in.
