sterilizing pacifiers?

Are you sterilizing things like pacifiers? Do you just put them in boiling water for a few minutes or something to do this?

Re: sterilizing pacifiers?

  • I do, especially after they use them, you will want to clean them.  I just boiled water and put them in for less than 10 minutes.

  • I think it says on the package to sterilize before the first use.

I'll throw them in our microwave sterilizer because we have one, but if not, yep, just toss them in boiling water for a few minutes!

  • Yep, always sterilized them out of the package and once they were in use I'd do it every other day. I had an Avent microwave sterilizer and would just toss it in that. If you don't have a microwave sterilizer than boiling water works just as fine.
