Good morning Ladies...I have come to the conclusion that I must not be eating enough food and snacks on a daily basis. I get this feeling like all the life has been sucked out of me and that I may pass out at any moment. Problem is I'm just not hungry most of time. Last night I had yogurt, pear, and a bottled water as a late night snack... then I instantly felt better. I guess I need to be on a eating schedule to keep my energy up throughout the day and at night. What is your eating schedule?
Re: what is your eating schedule?
first tri (from what I have read) is when your body works the hardest compared to 2nd tri at least, because your blood and nutrients are rushing to your uterus to provide nourishment for the baby and forming the placenta etc. so..you are right the feel famished! lol I wake up starving! Here is a typical day so far (just since sunday, got my bfp tuesday)
8:00/8:30-breakfast, 11:00-snack, 12:30-lunch, 2:30/3:00-snack (this is when I start to feel DEAD tired, like its 3 am), 6:00/6:30-dinner, 8:30/9-snack...
I have just noticed it getting to be this way...it keeps me from feeling insane from hunger!! I usually nosh on fruits, veggies, almonds, granola bars, fish, chicken, beef, pita chips, whole grain tortillas or bread, water, sweet tea etc...I was a pretty good eater pre-bfp so my bfp just makes me eat that much more healthy...GL!

My schedule is
8:00/8:30-breakfast, 11:00/11:30-snack, 1/1:30 lunch, 3/3:30-snack, 6:30/7-dinner and then I'm normally ok till I wake up famished in the morning. I'm in bed by normally 9:30 or 10.
7:30 Breakfast
11:00 Second Breakfast
2:00/ 2:30 Lunch
4:30 snack
5:30 - 6 Dinner
8:30 snack
I feel great in the mornings but get progressively worse as the day goes on. So my feedings get closer together as the day goes on to combat the nausea.
8.00 breakfast
I munch on animal crackers until about 10.00 then I eat an apple or some carrots
11.30 or noon (if I can make it) lunch
I much on more animal crackers until about 2.00 that I ead my Greek yogurt with blueberries and strawberries
Then, you geussed it, I munch on animal crackers or almonds, or sweet potato
Get home and eat dinner around 6.30 or 7.00. Then I either have a little more yogurt or I have some milk and cookies
I haven't changed my eating schedule much, yet!
I usually have breakfast, then a mid morning snack, then lunch, then an afternoon snack, then dinner, then dessert/snack

I had been doing Weight Watchers up until I got my BFP, so my body had been conditioned for my schedule with that. However, I've already noticed that it's not cutting it. I had a bowl of cheerios for breakfast and by 930, I was feeling like I was going to pass out (I can tell when my blood sugar is getting low). Ate my snack, but it's only 11 and I feel shaky, etc. so I might have to eat my lunch here pretty soon.
I say, eat what you want, when you want it. Listen to your body.
I've been super hungry so I feel like I'm constantly eating. But my sister-in-law eats small portions several times a day. If she gets full or doesn't feel hungry, she will eat a little bit of something anyway. It seems to work great for her.
