Fever and early pregnancy?

So I have been sick the last few days...with a sinus infection. I have had a temp between 99.2 and 99.7 for the past 3 days. I know its low grade but its lasting for a few days which has me concerned. I am on amoxicillin and have been since yesterday morning, and I am taking tylenol.

Bad me took dayquil 2 days ago oops.

Redsox just posted about this within the last couple days cause she's been sick too. She talked to her doc and if I remember correctly he said it had to be a high fever for an extended period of time to cause a problem. I'm sure the post is in within the last couple pages.

I've been sick since Monday night but today is the first day I took my temp. I usually don't bother taking it because there's little they can do for it. So I don't really know how long I've had it to be honest. And I'm going on vacation tomorrow *sigh*. makes me a little nervous to be so far away when I could need a dr but I could always go to an emergency clinic if i absolutely needed healthcare.

Thanks, me too! Not only am I sick but the forecast says it's supposed to be raining almost the entire time we're there! LOL. What luck. I've been taking tylenol for comfort reasons but haven't "felt feverish" so i only took my temp on a whim b/c I'm at work and we have them readily available. I've had a scratchy voice but it doesn't hurt.

It's funny b/c I don't know how many of my symptoms are pregnancy related or sickness related

Oh no!!!! I hope the weather is wrong or changes. That sucks. I hate going on vacation and the whether being all cruddy!!! Hopefully you will enjoy it anyways...regardless of the stinkin weather!

I think...maybe...the sickness is pregnancy related. I seem to see a lot of women who suffer from sinus infections etc early on because of their immune system being lowered due to the pregnancy. So maybe...us being sick is just another of the pregnancy symptoms lol. Last night I felt sick to my stomach but I do not know if its the meds or the pregnancy haha.

Yup! I was very concerned too, mine hit 100.4 but she said even that isn't considered "high" and I took Tylenol to keep it down. The danger is if a fever is high (over 101) and stays high for a prolonged time. Just keep an eye on it and keep taking Tylenol as needed. Feel better! Smile

Do you have a stuffy nose at all? I want to avoid taking any meds besides tylenol if possible and I'm sure things haven't changed since my last PG but I have certainly forgotten a lot. I want to try and just use a nose spray but I remember they said to avoid nasal sprays while pregnant... Ugh.. I have a lot of "re"-research to do!

omg after doing a little research I saw that chronic stuffy nose isn't uncommon in pregnancy and it reminded me that I was definitely chronically stuffy with DD (not to the degree I am right now, but it was certainly irritating). So maybe a lot of this is pregnancy related...ugh! what a pain!

Thats the one thing I do not have is a stuff nose. I know sudafed is safe...but aside from that I have no clue...its been awhile since I was last really pregnant!!! I took dayquil the other day...ugh bad me!!!
